So I decided to leave the background blank. I always feel initially elated when I finish a drawing then the next moment I feel utterly drained. The way you feel after watching a heart wrenching drama. So, I wallow exhausted for a while then throw myself into another drawing. I started one this evening. It's quite a dramatic one...I'll post photos of it's progress as I start adding colour.
